Grégory Sallet
Otsukaresama · Consulting, website, press and album launch · 2024–2026
From November 2024 to March 2026 we worked with Lyon saxophonist Grégory Sallet on everything around his music: positioning and tools, a rebuilt website with an online shop, a bio and a press kit, then the launch of Otsukaresama, released with his Sur Écoute Quartet on November 7, 2025. A jazz album that draws on French impressionism and on Indian and Japanese traditions, with guests Yuriko Kimura on flute and Prabhu Edouard on tabla.
What we did
- Music marketing consulting: positioning, the story of the album, launch plan and booking tools
- Website repair, migration and redesign, with an online shop
- Bio and identity: bio in French, English and Spanish, press kit, typography and palette for his communication
- Launch plan in Asana, booking pipeline in HubSpot, Spotify pitches
- Cover and CD booklet design by Benjamin García (Svhen), Monart’s art director, from the phoenix illustration
- Social media: release videos, live teasers, Spotify Canvas for every track, templates for posts and stories
- Music PR campaign: 153+ media in 12+ countries
- Meta Ads for the singles Instinct 4 and Le sabre est mon refuge (coda), and for the album
- Part two: the Japan Tour 2026 campaign
Otsukaresama (2025)
Grégory Sallet · Sur Écoute Quartet · Album · November 7, 2025 · gregorysallet.com
Sur Écoute is the quartet saxophonist Grégory Sallet started in 2017 with musicians he met at the Conservatoire de Chambéry: Matthieu Roffé on piano, Michel Molines on double bass and Kevin Lucchetti on drums. On Otsukaresama, a Japanese way of saying “thank you for your hard work”, they are joined by Yuriko Kimura on flute and Prabhu Edouard on tabla.
Strategy and tools
We worked out the story of Otsukaresama with Grégory: the phoenix, Takezo, the colours, the Japanese thread. We drew a clear line between Grégory Sallet, the artist, Sur Écoute, the band, and Otsukaresama, the album.
Then we built what he needed to release it and to sell concerts.
- Launch plan in Asana: singles, press release, newsletter, assets, ads
- Booking pipeline in HubSpot, with email templates
- Press kit and press release
- Bio in French, English and Spanish, long and short
- Spotify pitches and Canvas, artist profiles on Spotify and Apple Music
- Streaming issues fixed with the distributor at release
Palette
The phoenix sets the colours: the blue and teal of its sky, the gold of the titles, a blush taken from its feathers, an ink almost black. Benjamin García drew the codes out of the cover, and the campaign uses them everywhere: ads, reels, Spotify Canvas, posters.
Two voices
On the cover, Helvetica Bold for the name and Helvetica Light Oblique for the album, as Benjamin set them. On the website, Albert Sans, a rounder sans that keeps long pages easy to read. The posters and reels of the 2026 Japan tour pair the two.
The website
Halfway through, his old site stopped working: database errors, PHP warnings. We repaired it, migrated it, then redesigned it around the album. Networks and a Shop button in the header, albums, videos, concerts, press.
The shop sells the CD, the limited screen-printed edition by L’Apothicaire, the Takezo the Phoenix T-shirt and private lessons. The phoenix isn’t ours. The cover and the CD booklet around it are, designed by Benjamin García (Svhen), Monart’s art director, and so is the site.
In October 2026, before the Japan tour, we added a newsletter page in French, English and Japanese.

Press
Between September and December 2025 we ran the press campaign for the album, in France and abroad. Reviews in Paris Move, Jazz-Rhône-Alpes, Contratiempo in Mexico and JazzMania in Belgium. A track on France Musique’s Au cœur du jazz, the album on Radio UNAM’s Panorama del Jazz, playlists from La Gazette Bleue d’Action Jazz and PJ Portrait in Jazz in Japan, CultureJazz, and the regional press: Le Progrès, Le Dauphiné Libéré, Le JSL.

Grégory Sallet takes Otsukaresama on tour in Japan
Grégory Sallet’s Sur Écoute Quartet tours Japan with Otsukaresama in October 2026, with a content and Instagram campaign by Monart.
Social media
For the release we made the videos: a street interview in Mâcon for the release party at Le Crescent, teasers from the concert film, a Spotify Canvas for every track. We also built templates for posts and stories, and worked with Grégory on how to shape his own videos: hook, development, call to action.
Instagram, April 2025 to March 2026
Ads
Meta Ads for the two singles and the album, tested on six creatives: Grégory introducing the album with Japanese subtitles, the cover in motion, a short poem on the album’s textures. Meta put the budget where it worked best. The Japanese version brought most of the results, and Japan became Grégory’s second market on Spotify.
