French webzine Froggy’s Delight reviewed Labyrinth, the album by saxophonist Nicole Johänntgen, in its À écouter section, highlighting Jon Hansen’s tuba.
What Froggy’s Delight wrote
Le style très groovy de la saxophoniste (et chanteuse), son son clair convient parfaitement à cette musique (…) Et le tout porté par une générosité, une belle énergie ! (“The saxophonist and singer’s very groovy style and clear sound suit this music perfectly. And it is all carried by generosity and great energy!”)

The Froggy’s Delight review
The review notes that a trio with the bass line held by a tuba is rare enough to stand out, and also mentions Victor Hege on sousaphone and David Stauffacher on percussion.
