Nocuts
Website, online shop and ads · 2026
nocuts.fr is the website Monart redesigned for Nocuts, the Paris jazz quartet founded by clarinettist Olivier Roch, ahead of their second album, Echoes of Wanderlust. A site dressed in the album cover, with its own CD shop, in French and English. Then the ads that carried the single Titicaca up to release day.
What we did
- Musician website design and development: redesign around the new album identity, desktop and mobile
- An online CD shop with pre-orders and secure payment
- French and English versions
- A bilingual digital press kit
- Video ads for the single Titicaca on Facebook and Instagram

Inside the cover
Julien Vaugelade’s cover for Echoes of Wanderlust is a leaf seen very close: veins like rivers on a map, and a dust of turquoise light that reads like a night sky.
We didn’t build a palette next to the cover. We built the site inside it. The texture runs under every page header. The menu bar takes the deep blue of its shadows, the buttons the wine of its red veins, long reading sits on slate. Concert photos stay black and white, so the colour belongs to the record.
The artwork is Julien Vaugelade’s. The design of the site, its palette and its typography are ours.
On every screen
Desktop and mobile, every page designed for both.

One voice
We chose a single typeface, Darker Grotesque. Titles at 600, text at 500, nothing else needed. Narrow, a little tall, quiet enough to leave the cover the loudest thing on the page.
Selling the record yourself
Nocuts wanted to handle pre-sales themselves rather than through the distributor. So the site got its own online music shop: Echoes of Wanderlust on CD, on pre-order first, then on sale, next to the first album, Itinéraires (2020).
One shelf is for the neighbours: records from the members’ other bands, Blå Time Trio, Eusebes & Makhimos, Dehors Dedans, Paulo Antunes. A band shop that works a little like a record store.
A night on Lake Titicaca
Titicaca is Gaëlle Coquempot’s piece: a night under the stars on an island in the Peruvian lake, caught between the violence of the weather and the hypnotic beauty of the place.
The ads tell it in her own words, a few at a time, over studio footage of the four musicians, aerial views of the lake and the single’s cover. Vertical for stories and reels, square for the feeds, in French and English.

About the project
nocuts.fr is the official website of Nocuts, a modern jazz quartet from Paris founded in 2016 by clarinettist Olivier Roch, with Gaëlle Coquempot on piano, Guillaume Burkhardt on double bass and Julien Defontaine on drums. Their first album, Itinéraires, came out in 2020. The second, Echoes of Wanderlust, was released on 20 March 2026: ten pieces by Gaëlle Coquempot and Olivier Roch inspired by travel, from the Andean high plateaus to Sardinia. Monart redesigned the website and its online shop, built the French and English versions and the digital press kit, and produced the Facebook and Instagram ads for the single Titicaca.

An album on the way?
We design websites, shops and campaigns for musicians, so the record has somewhere to live, and a way to be sold, on release day.
