David MacGregor Music
Website and webmastering · The Hague · 2019
David MacGregor is a Scottish world jazz guitarist, composer, music educator and recording artist based in The Hague, whose career is built on solo concerts around the world and collaborations. In 2019 we designed and built davidmacgregormusic.com, in English and French, and looked after it with an annual webmastering plan. David has since moved to a new website; this page presents the version we made.
What we did
- Musician website design and development on WordPress, in English and French
- Albums, news from the road, tour dates, photos, videos and contact
- A Lessons page: in person, online, masterclasses and workshops
- Annual webmastering, with search performance followed in Google Search Console
Client: David MacGregor, guitarist and composer, The Hague · From 2019 · Archived project, David has since moved to a new website
Coral and ink
The home page opened on a photo of David with his guitar, his name set in the coral of the site, and a quote about his playing. Every page closed on the same ink-blue footer: newsletter, booking contact and social links.
The Lessons page laid out three ways to learn with him, in person, online, and masterclasses and workshops, each with its rates.
The site, as it was
Two full pages from the version we built.
Lessons
Teaching is part of David’s work, so it got its own page: who it is for, from beginners to advanced players, and how it works, in person, online or in a masterclass.
Webmastering
After launch, we looked after the site under an annual webmastering plan: updates, content changes and search performance follow-up.

Teaching, touring, recording?
We design musician websites that give each part of the work its own page, and we can look after them once they are live.
