Norway as partner country
Norway was the partner country of the 2019 edition, presented at the trade fair and in the city-wide festival. During the fair, the organisers said they would support a Norwegian initiative to set up an international network for young professionals in the jazz sector.
The fair in figures
The 2019 trade fair counted 3,408 participants from 64 nations, compared with 3,282 in 2018, among them 1,419 exhibiting companies at 121 main and joint stands. Around 18,000 visitors attended the fair and the 100 concerts of the trade fair weekend.
Looking ahead to the 15th anniversary in 2020, the organisers announced that they would strengthen the fair’s role in brokering business contacts between overseas and European markets, and give more room in the conference programme to the concerns of international promoters and programmers.
