Luca de Dios releases De amor y desamor, his debut album, on October 16, 2026. The Spanish-language singer-songwriter, based in Luxembourg, signs eleven songs of love and heartbreak told through everyday life, with the voice at the centre: close and unprocessed, surrounded by nylon and steel-string guitars, cuatro venezolano and a toy Casio keyboard from his childhood. An album for audiences who listen to Silvana Estrada, Macario Martínez or Juana Aguirre.
An album made in an attic
Luca recorded De amor y desamor at home, in a studio he built in his father’s attic. He wrote, played, produced and mixed it himself, with Peter Willems on double bass, Eduardo Doreste on bass clarinet and saxophones and Ben Bley on trumpets. The album gathers the three singles released this year: “Taza de café” in May, “Ausente” in July and “Amor acostumbrado” in August. Listen on all platforms.
On Bandcamp, in digital and on vinyl
De amor y desamor is on Bandcamp, in digital and on orange 12″ vinyl limited to 250 copies, with a bundle that adds the lyrics and translations booklet. On Bandcamp Fridays, Bandcamp waives its revenue share, so more of each purchase goes to the artist. The next ones are on November 6 and December 4, 2026.
For release day, we made a short that presents the album.
Monart runs the press campaign in Latin America for the release. See the De amor y desamor campaign or read the full press release.
